Graduates leave our doors with knowledge of how to make over 100 popular and trendy drinks under their belts.

Have you ever heard of a traditional Manhattan? Did you know it's supposed to get a muddled cherry in it? You might not even know what "muddling" is. But that's okay because those are things we will teach you in our classes.

From kamikaze shooters to desert dry martinis, our curriculum teaches it all. We even give our students lessons on when guests are too intoxicated to be served and how to pour the perfect beer. Whether you're starting from scratch or you already work in the alcohol industry, classes at The Cleveland Bartending School will get you acquainted with the basics of bartending which can help you transition into a confident and successful bartender earning tips of $100 or more a night.

There isn't just one kind of bartender. You could work as a barmaid in neighborhood pub or get a job earning tips for a catering service. Some of our grads or get jobs at a local nightclub and others work in busy restaurants. The possibilities are endless. It doesn't matter if economic times are good or bad, people are always going to be at the bar drinking.

Training Schedule

Our Professional Mixology course is a forty-hour course which consists of ten four-hour bartending classes. Our mixology course can be completed over a one, two or five week period. New bartending classes start each week.

Day Classes

Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, One week in length.

New classes start once a month. Call for next class date.

Night Classes

Monday through Friday from 6:00pm to 10:00pm, Two weeks in length.

New classes start each week.

Weekends

Every Saturday from 10:00am to 6:00pm Five weeks in length.

New classes start each week.

Flexible Schedule

The student may take any combination of day, evening or weekend classes until they complete the ten, 4-hour lessions required to graduate.

The classes may be taken in any order after the first day.

Our entire curriculum may be completed in as little as one week if you take the Monday through Friday day class. For your convenience, we offer students up to one year to complete every course. And our doors are always open to you for practice time.

All classes take place in a life-like bar atmosphere fully equipped with the most-requested call brands. Our instructors crank up the music and let our students mix and pour their own drinks for over half of their class time.

After you've been taught how to properly mix and pour drinks, you'll be timed on your ability to make these drinks in a high-volume capacity, mixing at least 12 drinks in eight minutes. But don't worry. It's easy and fun because our instructors prepare you for these kinds of situations.

When you leave The Cleveland School of Bartending, you will not just be another bartender haphazardly mixing drinks at any area nightclub or neighborhood bar. You will be a mixologist who knows what liquors, juices and liqueurs taste best together and which ones should be kept apart. You'll also learn a few tricks that help you earn tips our in the world of bartending.
